            Who Joins?

The Netherland Club of New York organizes and sponsors a wide variety events.  Young and "old", families and singles, old-timers and new arrivals - each has a place within the organization.  We're a club of volunteers. We're all well-integrated into the United States but know that it's nice to visit your roots every now and then.  

We offer Single ($230) Family ($350) and Young Professional Single till 35 years of age ($99)  memberships and we also offer corporate sponsorship for companies with multiple members (contact Addy Onstwedder for more info). 

Why Join?

As a member you will receive our news e-mail and special invitations for special member events or free/reduced fees for all other events.   

Major events that we organize: the 'Koninginnedag' Reception hosted by the Dutch consul; Herring and Heineken Party, a major meet and greet with 'Sinterklaas' for children and parents of the members of the club; performances by Dutch Cabaretiers; lectures; political debates; an annual Dutch American Golf Tournament. Smaller events include Dutch films, also the showing of children films; Jazz evenings; 'klaverjas evenings' and besides organized events the restaurant and the bar at our Clubhouse at 3 West 51st Street is their at your convenience. And as a number of us like the networking opportunity as well, we also organize networking cocktails at the roofterrace with a fantastic view. 

Lastly members of the Club also benefit from being able to use the Club’s hotel facilities for their families and/or visiting guests. Given hotel prices
in Manhatten this is excellent value for money in a prime location. Members can stay at the hotel for discounted roomrates.

When do I Join?

Our membership year runs from January 1 through December 31.  However, if you join after October 1, your membership will be effective through the end of the year as well as the following year.
