	Movie -American Psyche- May 27 2008 It has been a very interesting and impressive documentary followed by Q&A with the director. The events of 9/11 marked a fundamental shift in the way America saw itself in relation to the rest of the world. As the White House expanded its vocabulary in 'preemptive strikes' and 'homeland security', even the idea of 'America' changed. I -along with friend and co-creator Franois Le Gourant- began to question what the true social climate of the United States was, and whether the actions of the White House were really reflecting the interests and concerns of its people. 	Andr Rieu and his Johan Strauss Orchestra in Concert, Friday May 23rd in Bridgeport (CT) Some 8,000 people filled the Arena in Bridgeport, CT to capacity. Andre Rieu and his Johan Strauss Symphony Orchestra did not disappoint. He engaged the public with superb performances of popular classical and contemporary compositions. He presented a repertoire that was tailored to the regional audience. It was entertaining, witty, tasteful and of high professional level. His brand is unique and I can understand why he is packing houses in all parts of the globe. Being there in person is even better than seeing him in concert on PBS. I counted 17 encores... for a concert that lasted two-and-a half hours as promised. View all photos (0)

	Queensbirthday/Koninginnedag 2008 After the very busy reception of the Consul-General, we had a wonderful Indonesian Buffet. The band Spongeworthy played very good music! Unfortunately the buffet was such a success that we had to disappoint a lot of people. View all photos (15)
